Those who are on the left side will be on the left side.
وَاَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِۙ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِۜ

56:42
They will be in a torment that works and boils.
ف۪ي سَمُومٍ وَحَم۪يمٍۙ
|
56:43
They are under warm shades.
وَظِلٍّ مِنْ يَحْمُومٍۙ
|
56:44
Neither cold nor useful.
لَا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَر۪يمٍ
|
56:45
Before that they had indulged in comfort.
اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتْرَف۪ينَۚ
|
56:46
They persisted in committing the great sin.
وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظ۪يمِۚ
|
56:47
"They used to say, "Shall we be resurrected after we have died and turned into dust and bones?"
وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ اَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَۙ
|
56:48
Even our forefathers before us?
اَوَاٰبَٓاؤُ۬نَا الْاَوَّلُونَ
|
56:49
"Say, "Those before and those after."
قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَوَّل۪ينَ وَالْاٰخِر۪ينَۙ
|
56:50
They will be gathered together for the meeting of the known Day.
لَمَجْمُوعُونَ اِلٰى م۪يقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ
|
56:51
Then you, O you who have gone astray, O you deniers
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ اَيُّهَا الضَّٓالُّونَ الْمُكَذِّبُونَۙ
|
56:52
You will eat of the tree of Zaqqum.
لَاٰكِلُونَ مِنْ شَجَرٍ مِنْ زَقُّومٍۙ
|
56:53
You will fill your bellies with it.
فَمَالِـؤُ۫نَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَۚ
|
56:54
And you will drink boiling water on it.
فَشَارِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَم۪يمِۚ
|
56:55
You will drink it as a thirsty camel drinks.
فَشَارِبُونَ شُرْبَ الْه۪يمِۜ
|
56:56
This is how they will be entertained on the Day of Judgment.
هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ الدّ۪ينِۜ
|
56:57
We created you, should you not have verified?
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ۟
|
56:58
Have you paid attention to the semen that you expel?
اَفَرَاَيْتُمْ مَا تُمْنُونَۜ
|
56:59
Do you create it or do We create it?
ءَاَنْتُمْ تَخْلُقُونَهُٓ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْخَالِقُونَ
|
56:60
We have predetermined your death among you. No one can prevent Us:
نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوق۪ينَۙ
