5:101 Believers, do not ask questions about what you do not like when it is explained to you. If you ask in the light of the Qur´an, they will become clear to you. Allah has not specifically mentioned them. Allah is Forgiving, Mild.
5:102 A people before you asked such questions and they became disbelievers because of their questions
5:103 Allah does not approve of the forbidding of those who have offspring with a certain combination of male and female, of those who are released on oath, of those who give birth to two males in succession, and of male camels who give offspring ten times; the disbelievers slander Allah. Most of them do not understand.
5:104 "When it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has sent down and to the messenger,"they say, "Sufficient for us is the way which we found our forefathers on."Even though their forefathers were people who knew nothing and could not find the right way?"
5:105 Believers, look to yourselves. If you are on the right path, no one who deviates can harm you. To Allah is the return of all of you. He will inform you of what you used to do.
5:106 "Believers, when death comes to one of you, let two just witnesses be present from among you at the time of the will. And if death comes to you while you are traveling, two of you who are not of you. If you are in doubt, detain the witnesses after the prayer and say in the name of Allah: "We will not exchange our testimony for anything, not even relatives, nor conceal the testimony of Allah. Otherwise, we shall be among the sinners."
5:107 "If it is found that the witnesses are biased, two witnesses from the side that was wronged by the previous witnesses take their place and swear by Allah saying: "Our testimony is truer than the testimony of the other two. We will not deviate, lest we become wrongdoers."
5:108 This is to ensure that they do their testimony properly and that they fear that their oaths will be rejected after they have sworn. Honor Allah and listen. Allah will not guide a people who have gone astray.
5:109 "On the Day when Allah gathers the messengers: He will say: "What was the answer given to you?""We have no knowledge. You know the mysteries,"they will say."
5:110 "Allah will say: O Jesus son of Mary, remember My favor which I bestowed on you and your mother. I supported you with the Holy Spirit so that you could speak to the people when you were in the cradle and when you were grown up. I taught you the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, and by My permission you made a bird out of clay, and when I breathed into it, it became a bird by My permission. By my permission you healed the blind and the leper. You raised the dead by my permission. And although you brought clear proofs to the Children of Israel, the disbelievers among them said, "This is nothing but a clear sorcery,"and I saved you from them."
5:111 "When I revealed to the Apostles (disciples), "Believe in me and my apostle,"they said, "We believe; witness that we have become Muslims."
5:112 "The Apostles said, "Jesus son of Mary, may your Lord give us a feast from heaven."He said, "Honor Allah if you believe."
5:113 We ask that we may eat of it, and that our hearts may be calmed, and that we may know that you tell us the truth, and that we may bear witness to it.
5:114 "Jesus son of Mary: "Our God, our Lord, send down to us a banquet from heaven, so that it may be a feast for each of us and for all of us, and a proof from You. Provide for us. You are the best provider."
5:115 "Allah said: "I will send it down to you,"He said: "Whoever disbelieves after that, I will punish him with a torment which I have never given to anyone."
5:116 "Allah will say: "O Jesus son of Mary, did you say to the people, ´Take me and my mother as gods besides Allah´?"(Jesus) will reply: "You are great, it is not befitting me to say what I have no right to say. You would have known if I had said such a thing. You know what I think, but I do not know what you think. You know all mysteries."
5:117 I said to them nothing but what You commanded me: ´Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord.´ I was a witness to them as long as I was among them, and when You took my life, You became a watcher over them. You are the Witness of all things.
5:118 If you punish them, they are your creatures. If You forgive them, surely You are Superior, Wise.
5:119 "God will declare: "This is the Day when the righteous will be benefited by their righteousness."For them are gardens of gardens with rivers flowing in them, where they will abide forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is the great success..."
5:120 To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. His power is sufficient for everything.
