بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
62:1 All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies Allah. He is the King, the Most Holy, the Supreme, the Wise.
62:2 He it is Who has sent a Messenger from among the Ummah, one of their own, who recites to them His verses, purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom. Before that they were in manifest error.
62:3 And others who have not yet joined them. He is the Superior, the Wise.
62:4 This is the bounty of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills and/or to whom He wills. Allah is the Owner of great bounty.
62:5 The example of those who were given the Torah and did not fulfill it is like that of a donkey carrying books. Woe to the people who deny the signs of Allah. Allah does not guide the unjust people to the truth.
62:6 "Say: "O Jews, if you claim that you alone among the people are the friends of Allah, then wish for death, if you are truthful."
62:7 They will never be able to wish for it because of what they used to do. Allah knows the wrongdoers well.
62:8 "Say: "The death from which you have been fleeing will surely reach you, and then you will be brought back to the Presence of the Knower of the hidden and the unseen. He will inform you of everything you do."
62:9 O you who believe, when you are called to prayer on Friday, hasten to remember Allah and leave the shopping. That is better for you, if you know.
62:10 When the prayer is over, spread out in the earth and seek Allah´s favor and keep on remembering Allah.
62:11 "Some of them, when they see a trade or a pastime, leave you standing and flock to it. Say, "What is with Allah is better than amusement and trade. Allah is the best provider."
