بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
6:141 It is He Who created the gardens with and without bowers, and the dates, the crops, the olives and the pomegranates, similar or different. When each of them bears fruit, eat of its fruit and give its due on the day of harvest. Do not be extravagant; He does not love the extravagant.
6:142 The livestock are for you to ride or slaughter or to make bedding from them. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow the steps of Satan, for he is your manifest enemy.
6:143 "Eight pairs: Two of the sheep and two of the goat. Say: "Has he forbidden the two males or the two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females?"Answer me on the basis of knowledge, if you are truthful."
6:144 "Two of the camel and two of the cattle. Say: "Has He forbidden two males or two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females? And who is more unjust than he who invents lies and attributes them to Allah in order to mislead the people from the way without knowledge? Allah does not guide an unjust people."
6:145 "Say: "I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden for anyone who eats, except: carrion, spilled blood, the flesh of swine, which is unclean, and food devoted to none but Allah."And if anyone who is in hardship does not overstep the limit, then surely your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful."
6:146 We forbade the Jews all hoofed animals, and We forbade them the fat of cattle and sheep, except what they carry on their backs or in their intestines, or what is mixed with their bones. Thus did We punish them for their excesses, and We are truthful.
6:147 "If they deny you: Say: "Your Lord has mercy, and His punishment cannot be averted from a guilty people"."
6:148 "Those who associate partners will say: "If Allah had not willed, neither we nor our fathers would have associated partners, nor would we have forbidden anything."And those before them denied in the same way until they tasted Our torment. Say: "Do you have any knowledge with you that you can show us? You follow only conjecture (doubtful and contradictory narrations) and you are only guessing."
6:149 "Say: "The strongest proof is from Allah. If He willed, He would surely guide you all to the truth."
6:150 "Say: "Bring your witnesses to testify that Allah has forbidden this and that."If they testify, do not testify with them. Do not follow the pleasure of those who deny Our Verses and do not believe in the Hereafter. They associate others with their Lord."
6:151 "Say: "Come, let me tell you what your Lord has forbidden you: Do not associate anything with Him. Be kind to your parents. Do not kill your children for fear of poverty; We feed you and them. And do not approach the great sins openly or secretly, and do not kill a soul unjustly which Allah has forbidden. These are His admonitions to you that you may reflect."
6:152 Do not approach the property of orphans until they reach the age of maturity. Measure and weigh accurately. We do not burden a person with what he is not able. When you speak, be truthful even against your relatives. Keep your promise to Allah. These are His admonitions to you that you may take a lesson.
6:153 This is my straight path. Follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His Way. These are His admonitions to you that you may listen.
6:154 Indeed, We gave Moses the Book, complete in the best form, a detailed explanation of everything, guidance and mercy, so that they may believe in the meeting with their Lord.
6:155 And this is a blessed Book which We have sent down. So you should follow it and act righteously so that mercy may be shown to you.
6:156 "So do not say, "Two groups before us were given the Book, but we were ignorant of their teachings"."
6:157 "Nor can you say, "If the Book had been sent down to us, we would have been on a more right path than them". There has come to you a proof from your Lord, a guidance and a mercy. Who is more unjust than he who denies the signs of Allah and turns away from them? We will punish those who turn away from Our Verses with the worst of torment for their turning away."
6:158 "Do they wait for the angels to come to them or for their Lord, or for some signs of their Lord? On the Day when some signs of your Lord come, they will not benefit him who has not believed before, or who has not gained any good in his faith. Say: "Wait, and we are waiting."
6:159 You have nothing to do with those who divide their religion into parts and go in groups. Their affair is up to Allah; then He will inform them of their situation.
6:160 Whoever brings good, he shall have ten times what he brought. And whoever brings evil, he shall be punished only with its equivalent, and they shall not be wronged.
