70:21
And when good touches him, he is stingy.
وَاِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعاًۙ
|
70:22
Except those who pray:
اِلَّا الْمُصَلّ۪ينَۙ
|
70:23
Those who do not miss their prayers;
اَلَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ عَلٰى صَلَاتِهِمْ دَٓائِمُونَۖ
|
70:24
A known portion (zakat) has been set aside in their money,
وَالَّذ۪ينَ ف۪ٓي اَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌۙ
|
70:25
To the poor and needy who ask
لِلسَّٓائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِۖ
|
70:26
They affirm the Day of Religion;
وَالَّذ۪ينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدّ۪ينِۖ
|
70:27
They fear the punishment of their Lord;
وَالَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَۚ
|
70:28
The punishment of their Lord is not to be trusted.
اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍۚ
|
70:29
They abstain from sexual intercourse;
وَالَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَۙ
|
70:30
Except for their wives, that is, those to whom their oaths/contracts entitle them. They will not be condemned.
اِلَّا عَلٰٓى اَزْوَاجِهِمْ اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُهُمْ فَاِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُوم۪ينَۚ

70:31
but those who seek beyond that are the transgressors
فَمَنِ ابْتَغٰى وَرَٓاءَ ذٰلِكَ فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَۚ
|
70:32
They are trustworthy, true to their word;
وَالَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ لِاَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَۖ
|
70:33
They bear testimony properly;
وَالَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَٓائِمُونَۖ
|
70:34
They are diligent in their prayers.
وَالَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ عَلٰى صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَۜ
|
70:35
They will be entertained in the heavens.
اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ ف۪ي جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَۜ ۟

70:36
So what happens to the disbelievers now that they run before you?
فَمَالِ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِع۪ينَۙ

70:37
In groups from the right, from the left.
عَنِ الْيَم۪ينِۙ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِز۪ينَ

70:38
Does each one of them hope that he will be admitted to the Gardens of Bliss?
اَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ اَنْ يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَع۪يمٍۙ
|
70:39
Never; We created them from what they know.
كَلَّاۜ اِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
|
70:40
By the Lord of the east and the west, Our power is sufficient...
فَلَٓا اُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغَارِبِ اِنَّا لَقَادِرُونَۙ
