75:1
I swear by the Day of Resurrection.
لَٓا اُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِۙ
|
75:2
I swear by the one who is constantly self-critical.
وَلَٓا اُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
|
75:3
Does man think that we cannot gather his bones together?
اَيَحْسَبُ الْاِنْسَانُ اَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۜ
|
75:4
Yes, we are able to organize even the tips of his fingers.
بَلٰى قَادِر۪ينَ عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
|
75:5
But man denies what is before him (the Hereafter).
بَلْ يُر۪يدُ الْاِنْسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ اَمَامَهُۚ
|
75:6
"He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
يَسْـَٔلُ اَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ
|
75:7
When the eye is dazzled,
فَاِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُۙ
|
|
وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُۙ
|
75:9
And when the sun and the moon are gathered together,
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُۙ
|
75:10
"On that Day, mankind will say, "Where is a place of refuge?"
يَقُولُ الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ اَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّۚ
|
75:11
No, there is no refuge.
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَۚ
|
75:12
The last stop on that Day is the presence of your Lord.
اِلٰى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍۨ الْمُسْتَقَرُّۜ
|
75:13
On that Day man will be informed of all that he did or did not do.
يُنَبَّؤُا الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَاَخَّرَۜ
|
75:14
Indeed, man is a witness to himself.
بَلِ الْاِنْسَانُ عَلٰى نَفْسِه۪ بَص۪يرَةٌۙ
|
75:15
Even if he makes some excuses.
وَلَوْ اَلْقٰى مَعَاذ۪يرَهُۜ
|
75:16
Do not hurry him and do not move his tongue.
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِه۪ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِه۪ۜ
|
75:17
It is for Us to collect it and to recite it.
اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْاٰنَهُۚ
|
75:18
When We recite it, watch its recitation.
فَاِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْاٰنَهُۚ
|
75:19
Then it is for us to explain it.
ثُمَّ اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۜ
|
75:20
But you love the transient.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَۙ
