76:1
Has there not passed over man a period of time when he was nothing worthy of remembrance?
هَلْ اَتٰى عَلَى الْاِنْسَانِ ح۪ينٌ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْـٔاً مَذْكُوراً
|
76:2
We created man from a liquid mixture so that We might test him. So We made him hear and see.
اِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ اَمْشَاجٍۗ نَبْتَل۪يهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَم۪يعاً بَص۪يراً
|
76:3
We have shown him the way; he is either grateful or ungrateful.
اِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّب۪يلَ اِمَّا شَاكِراً وَاِمَّا كَفُوراً

76:4
For the disbelievers We have prepared chains and fetters and a blazing Fire.
اِنَّٓا اَعْتَدْنَا لِلْـكَافِر۪ينَ سَلَاسِلَا۬ وَاَغْلَالاً وَسَع۪يراً
|
76:5
The righteous will drink from a cup mixed with camphor (CHO).
اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُوراًۚ
|
76:6
A spring from which the servants of Allah drink, overflowing.
عَيْناً يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللّٰهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْج۪يراً

76:7
They fulfill their promises and fear a Day that is exceedingly evil.
يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْماً كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَط۪يراً
|
76:8
They feed the poor, the orphan and the captive with their favorite food.
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلٰى حُبِّه۪ مِسْك۪يناً وَيَت۪يماً وَاَس۪يراً
|
76:9
We feed you for the sake of Allah. We do not expect from you anything in return or thanks.
اِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللّٰهِ لَا نُر۪يدُ مِنْكُمْ جَزَٓاءً وَلَا شُكُوراً
|
76:10
We fear from our Lord for a Day that will be a grim and troublesome Day.
اِنَّا نَخَافُ مِنْ رَبِّنَا يَوْماً عَبُوساً قَمْطَر۪يراً
|
76:11
Indeed, Allah protects them from the evil of that Day and gives them joy and gladness.
فَوَقٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ شَرَّ ذٰلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقّٰيهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُوراًۚ

76:12
He rewards them with gardens and silk because they persevered.
وَجَزٰيهُمْ بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَر۪يراًۙ

76:13
They will recline therein on couches; they will see therein neither the burning sun nor the freezing cold.
مُتَّكِـ۪ٔينَ ف۪يهَا عَلَى الْاَرَٓائِكِۚ لَا يَرَوْنَ ف۪يهَا شَمْساً وَلَا زَمْهَر۪يراًۚ

76:14
The shade of the trees hangs over them, and the fruits are brought near and made easy to pluck.
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْل۪يلاً

76:15
It is presented to them on silver trays and in transparent glasses.
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِاٰنِيَةٍ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَاَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَار۪يرَاۙ
|
76:16
Transparent glasses made of silver. They have fully deserved them.
قَوَار۪يرَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْد۪يراً

76:17
There they will be made to drink from a goblet mixed with ginger.
وَيُسْقَوْنَ ف۪يهَا كَأْساً كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنْجَب۪يلاًۚ

76:18
"A spring, which is called "Selsabil"."
عَيْناً ف۪يهَا تُسَمّٰى سَلْسَب۪يلاً
|
76:19
They will be served by immortal youths. When you see them, you will think they are pearls scattered.
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَۚ اِذَا رَاَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤ۬اً مَنْثُوراً

76:20
Wherever you look you will see blessings and a great government.
وَاِذَا رَاَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَاَيْتَ نَع۪يماً وَمُلْـكاً كَب۪يراً
