78:1
What do they keep asking each other?
عَمَّ يَتَسَٓاءَلُونَۚ
|
|
عَنِ النَّبَأِ الْعَظ۪يمِۙ
|
78:3
In it they are in dispute.
اَلَّذ۪ي هُمْ ف۪يهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَۜ
|
|
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَۙ
|
78:5
No, they will certainly learn.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
|
78:6
Did We not make the earth a cradle?
اَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْاَرْضَ مِهَاداًۙ
|
78:7
And the mountains as stakes?
وَالْجِبَالَ اَوْتَاداًۖ
|
78:8
We created you in pairs.
وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ اَزْوَاجاًۙ
|
78:9
We made your sleep a rest.
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتاًۙ
|
78:10
We made the night a cover.
وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاساًۙ
|
78:11
And We appointed the day as a time for subsistence.
وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشاًۖ
|
78:12
And We established above you seven firm (heavens).
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَـكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداًۙ
|
78:13
We placed a shining lamp.
وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجاً وَهَّاجاًۖ
|
78:14
And from the clouds We sent down rain in torrents.
وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَٓاءً ثَجَّاجاًۙ

78:15
With it grains and plants.
لِنُخْرِجَ بِه۪ حَباًّ وَنَبَاتاًۙ
|
78:16
And gardens of various kinds.
وَجَنَّاتٍ اَلْفَافاًۜ
|
78:17
The Day of Judgment is at an appointed time.
اِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ م۪يقَاتاًۙ
|
78:18
On the Day when the Sur will be blown, you will come, all of you, in divisions.
يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ اَفْوَاجاًۙ
|
78:19
The heaven is opened; the gates are opened.
وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَٓاءُ فَـكَانَتْ اَبْوَاباًۙ
|
78:20
The mountains have been moved; they have become mirages.
وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَـكَانَتْ سَرَاباًۜ
