79:1
And to those who uproot,
وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقاًۙ
|
79:2
To those who draw freely,
وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطاًۙ
|
79:3
Those who swim and flow,
وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحاًۙ
|
79:4
Those who compete and overtake one another,
فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقاًۙ
|
79:5
And so those who keep the commandments
فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ اَمْراًۢ
|
79:6
On that Day that shaking will shake.
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُۙ
|
79:7
Then another will follow.
تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُۜ
|
79:8
On that Day hearts will tremble.
قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌۙ
|
79:9
And their eyes will be lowered.
اَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌۢ
|
79:10
"They will say, "Have we been returned to what we were before?"
يَقُولُونَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِۜ
|
79:11
After we were rotten bones?
ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَاماً نَخِرَةًۜ
|
79:12
"They say: "Then this is a return to your detriment"."
قَالُوا تِلْكَ اِذاً كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۢ
|
79:13
It is but a single nudge.
فَاِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌۙ
|
|
فَاِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِۜ
|
79:15
Has the history of Moses reached you?
هَلْ اَتٰيكَ حَد۪يثُ مُوسٰىۢ
|
79:16
His Lord called out to him in the sacred valley of Tuva:
اِذْ نَادٰيهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًىۚ
|
79:17
Go to Pharaoh; he was a man of folly.
اِذْهَبْ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهُ طَغٰىۘ
|
79:18
Tell him: Will you not purify yourself?
فَقُلْ هَلْ لَكَ اِلٰٓى اَنْ تَزَكّٰىۙ
|
79:19
I will guide you to your Lord that you may respect Him.
وَاَهْدِيَكَ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشٰىۚ
|
79:20
Then He showed him a great miracle.
فَاَرٰيهُ الْاٰيَةَ الْـكُبْرٰىۘ
