79:21
But he denied and disobeyed.
فَـكَذَّبَ وَعَصٰىۘ
|
79:22
Then he turned his back and strived (against him).
ثُمَّ اَدْبَرَ يَسْعٰىۘ
|
79:23
He gathered and proclaimed.
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادٰىۘ
|
79:24
"He said, "I am your Lord, the Most High."
فَقَالَ اَنَا۬ رَبُّكُمُ الْاَعْلٰىۘ
|
79:25
In the end, Allah struck him with the punishment of the Hereafter and the world.
فَاَخَذَهُ اللّٰهُ نَكَالَ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَالْاُو۫لٰىۜ
|
79:26
Surely there is a lesson in this for those who respect.
اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشٰىۜ۟
|
79:27
Are you or the sky more formidable in creation? He made it.
ءَاَنْتُمْ اَشَدُّ خَلْقاً اَمِ السَّمَٓاءُۜ بَنٰيهَا۠
|
79:28
He raised it high and organized it.
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوّٰيهَاۙ
|
79:29
He darkened its night and revealed its morning.
وَاَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَاَخْرَجَ ضُحٰيهَاۖ
|
79:30
And He formed the earth into the shape of an egg
وَالْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ دَحٰيهَاۜ
|
79:31
He brought forth from it water and pasture.
اَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَٓاءَهَا وَمَرْعٰيهَاۖ
|
79:32
He has also made the mountains.
وَالْجِبَالَ اَرْسٰيهَاۙ
|
79:33
All this is for you and your livestock.
مَتَاعاً لَكُمْ وَلِاَنْعَامِكُمْۜ
|
79:34
When the great flood comes,
فَاِذَا جَٓاءَتِ الطَّٓامَّةُ الْكُبْرٰىۘ
|
79:35
On that Day man will realize what he has striven for.
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ مَا سَعٰىۙ
|
79:36
Hell will be brought into view.
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَح۪يمُ لِمَنْ يَرٰى
|
|
فَاَمَّا مَنْ طَغٰىۙ
|
79:38
And as for those who prefer the life of this world.
وَاٰثَرَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَاۙ
|
79:39
Their destination will be Hell.
فَاِنَّ الْجَح۪يمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوٰىۜ
|
79:40
As for those who respect the station of their Lord and restrain themselves from evil desires
وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّه۪ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوٰىۙ
|
