83:21
Those who are near will witness it.
يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَۜ

83:22
The righteous are in Bliss.
اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَف۪ي نَع۪يمٍۙ
|
83:23
They behold the surroundings on armchairs.
عَلَى الْاَرَٓائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَۙ
|
83:24
You read from their faces the joy and glow of blessings.
تَعْرِفُ ف۪ي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّع۪يمِۚ
|
83:25
They will be made to drink of a flavored nectar.
يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَح۪يقٍ مَخْتُومٍۙ
|
83:26
Its flavor is musk. Let those who compete compete for it.
خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌۜ وَف۪ي ذٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَۜ

Its mixture is Tesnim
وَمِزَاجُهُ مِنْ تَسْن۪يمٍۙ
|
83:28
It is a spring from which those who are near drink.
عَيْناً يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَۜ

83:29
The criminals used to laugh at the believers.
اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ اَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَۘ

83:30
And when they used to pass by them, they used to sneer at each other.
وَاِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَۘ
|
83:31
And when they returned to their followers, they used to mock them.
وَاِذَا انْقَلَـبُٓوا اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوا فَكِه۪ينَۘ
|
83:32
"When they saw them, they would say: "These are the perverts!"
وَاِذَا رَاَوْهُمْ قَالُٓوا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ لَضَٓالُّونَۙ
|
83:33
Yet they were not sent as watchers over them.
وَمَٓا اُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظ۪ينَۜ
|
83:34
And today the believers laugh at the disbelievers.
فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَۙ
|
83:35
They look at them on armchairs:
عَلَى الْاَرَٓائِكِۙ يَنْظُرُونَۜ
|
83:36
To see if the disbelievers are punished for what they used to do.
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
