83:1
Woe to those who deceive.
وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّف۪ينَۙ
|
83:2
When they take from the people, they measure exactly.
اَلَّذ۪ينَ اِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَۘ
|
83:3
And when they give, they keep the measure and the weighing incomplete.
وَاِذَا كَالُوهُمْ اَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَۜ
|
83:4
Do they not think that they will be resurrected?
اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَۙ
|
|
لِيَوْمٍ عَظ۪يمٍۙ
|
83:6
On that Day people will stand before the Lord of the Universes.
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَم۪ينَۜ
|
83:7
Indeed, the fate of the wicked is in Sijjin.
كَلَّٓا اِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَف۪ي سِجّ۪ينٍۜ
|
83:8
Do you know what is Sijjin?
وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا سِجّ۪ينٌۜ
|
83:9
It is a numbered book.
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌۜ
|
83:10
Woe to those who deny on that Day.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّب۪ينَۙ
|
83:11
They deny the Day of Religion.
اَلَّذ۪ينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدّ۪ينِۜ
|
83:12
Only the sinners lie to it.
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِه۪ٓ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ اَث۪يمٍۙ
|
83:13
"When Our Verses were conveyed to him, he used to say: "Myth"."
اِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ اٰيَاتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاط۪يرُ الْاَوَّل۪ينَۜ
|
83:14
Indeed, the sins they committed have covered their hearts.
كَلَّا بَلْ۔ رَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوبِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
|
83:15
Indeed, on that Day they will be veiled from their Lord.
كَلَّٓا اِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَۜ
|
83:16
And so they will be cast into Hell.
ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الْجَح۪يمِۜ
|
83:17
"It will be said: "This is what you were denying"."
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذ۪ي كُنْتُمْ بِه۪ تُكَذِّبُونَۜ
|
83:18
Indeed, the Book of the righteous is in Illiyyun.
كَلَّٓا اِنَّ كِتَابَ الْاَبْرَارِ لَف۪ي عِلِّيّ۪ينَۜ
|
83:19
Do you know what is Illiyyun?
وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَۜ
|
83:20
It is a numbered book.
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌۙ
