بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

85:1 And to the heaven of the galaxies.

85:2 The promised Day,

85:3 And by the witness and by the witnessed.

85:4 Woe to the people of the Canyon.

85:5 Woe to the people of the canyon

85:6 They sat at his head,

85:7 And they watch their torture of the believers.

85:8 They hated the believers. Only because they believed in Allah, the Exalted and Praiseworthy.

85:9 To Him belongs the government of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things.

85:10 Those who persecute and torture believing men and women and then do not repent have deserved the torment of Hell. For them is a burning torment.

85:11 As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, they deserve Gardens in which rivers flow. This is the great success.

85:12 Indeed, the seizure of your Lord is severe.

85:13 It is He who begins and repeats.

85:14 He is the Forgiving, the Loving.

85:15 He is the Owner of the glorious government.
1
85:16 He is the One Who does what He wills.

85:17 Do you know the history of the armies?

85:18 of Pharaoh, of Thamud?

85:19 The disbelievers are chronic deniers.

85:20 Allah surrounds them from behind.
