96:1
Recite in the name of your Lord, the Creator.
اِقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذ۪ي خَلَقَۚ
|
96:2
He created man from an embryo.
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍۚ
|
96:3
Read, your Lord is the Most Generous/Exalted.
اِقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْاَكْرَمُۙ
|
96:4
He teaches through the pen.
اَلَّذ۪ي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِۙ
|
96:5
He taught man what he did not know.
عَلَّمَ الْاِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْۜ
|
96:6
Indeed, man is arrogant;
كَلَّٓا اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَيَطْغٰىۙ
|
96:7
By arrogating wealth.
اَنْ رَاٰهُ اسْتَغْنٰىۜ
|
96:8
Surely, to your Lord is the return.
اِنَّ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعٰىۜ
|
96:9
Have you seen him who obstructs?
اَرَاَيْتَ الَّذ۪ي يَنْهٰىۙ
|
96:10
A servant while he is praying?
عَبْداً اِذَا صَلّٰىۜ
|
96:11
What if he had followed the right path?
اَرَاَيْتَ اِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدٰىۙ
|
96:12
Or preached righteousness?
اَوْ اَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوٰىۜ
|
96:13
What if he denied and turned away?
اَرَاَيْتَ اِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّٰىۜ
|
96:14
Does he not know that Allah sees everything?
اَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَرٰىۜ
|
96:15
Indeed, if he does not cease, We will seize him by the collar,
كَلَّا لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ۬ لَنَسْفَعاً بِالنَّاصِيَةِۙ
|
96:16
From his lying and sinful claw.
نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍۚ
|
96:17
Then let him call his council.
فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۙ
|
96:18
We will call the demons.
سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَۙ
|
96:19
Never follow him; prostrate yourself and draw near!
كَلَّاۜ لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ ۩
