The Palm Fiber - 111:2
Neither his money nor his earnings have benefited him.
Money and children are of no use on the Day of Resurrection:
Sheva/34:35
"They even said, "We have more money and children; we will not be punished."

"Say, "My Lord gives bounties to whomever He wills, either in abundance or in restriction. But most of the people do not know."
Sheva/34:37
What brings you nearer to Us is neither your wealth nor your children. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds. They will be rewarded double for what they used to do and they will be safe in their chambers.

Do they think that with the wealth and children We have bestowed upon them,

We run for their good? No, they do not realize it.
The Iron/57:20
Know that the life of this world is but play, amusement, adornment, boasting among yourselves, and a race to multiply money and children. It is like the rain that makes a plant grow which the disbelievers like. But then the plant withers and turns yellow and becomes rubbish. In the Hereafter there is a severe punishment from Allah and forgiveness and contentment. The life of this world is but a temporary pleasure that deceives.

"Say: "If your parents, your children, your brothers and sisters, your wives, your families, the money you earn, the business you fear may go bad, and the houses you enjoy are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His Way, then wait until Allah brings His Command."Allah does not guide the people who have gone astray."

"The day will come when the gold and the money that they hoarded will be heated in the Fire of Hell and their foreheads, their sides and their backs will be scorched with it: "This is what you have saved for yourselves. Taste what you have accumulated."
