Prophet Joseph - 12:42
"He said to the one of the two whom he predicted to be saved, "Remember me with your Lord."The devil made him (Joseph) forget the remembrance of his Lord, so he remained in prison for a few more years."
Allah taught Prophet Joseph the interpretation of dreams:
Prophet Joseph/12:4
"Joseph once said to his father: "My father, I saw the eleven planets, the sun and the moon, and I saw them prostrating themselves to me."
Prophet Joseph/12:5
"(His father Jacob said:) "My child,"he said, "do not tell your dream to your brothers, lest they plot against you. For Satan is a clear enemy of man."
Prophet Joseph/12:6
So your Lord chooses you, and teaches you the interpretation of dreams, and completes His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed His favor upon your fathers Abraham and Isaac before you. Your Lord is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Prophet Joseph/12:21
"The one who bought him in Egypt said to his wife, "Take good care of him, lest he be of use to us, or we adopt him as our son."So We placed Joseph on the earth and taught him the interpretation of dreams. God is the Exalted in His work, but most of the people do not know it."

"Two young men entered the prison with him. One of them said: "I saw myself (in a dream) making wine."The other said: "I also saw myself carrying bread on my head, and the birds were eating it. Tell us the interpretation of these things. We consider you one of the righteous."

I can give you the interpretation of the caravan meal that has been allotted to you before it is delivered to you. This is from what my Lord has taught me. I have abandoned the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah, and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.

My fellow prisoners, one of you will offer wine to his Lord, and the other will be crucified and the birds will eat his head. The matter you are asking about has been resolved.

"The king said: "In my dream I see seven fat cows and seven lean cows eating them, and seven green and seven dry ears. O elite, if you can interpret dreams, unravel this dream for me."

These are confused dreams. We do not know the interpretation of such dreams.

"The one of the two who was saved remembered after a long time and said, "If you send me (to Joseph), I will tell you the interpretation of it."

"(He went to the dungeon and said:) "Joseph, my dear friend, give us an explanation about the seven fat cows eaten by the seven lean cows, and the seven green and dry ears, so that I may inform the people."
Prophet Joseph/12:47
"He said: "What you have sown for seven years, leave it in its ears and store it, except for a little of it that you eat."
Prophet Joseph/12:48
Then seven dry (years) will follow it, and it will devour what you have stored up for those years, except a little of what you have stored up.
Prophet Joseph/12:49
And after that will come a year in which the people will be refreshed, and in which they will press (fruit) and milk (animals).
Prophet Joseph/12:100
"He raised his parents on the throne. They all prostrated themselves for him. He said: "My father, this is the fulfillment of the dream which I had before. My Lord has fulfilled it, and He has been kind to me by bringing me out of prison and bringing you from the desert after Satan had driven a wedge between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is very compassionate to whom He wills. He is Knowing, Wise."
Prophet Joseph/12:101
My Lord, you have given me sovereignty and taught me the interpretation of dreams. You are the One who created the heavens and the earth. You are my Wali (owner) in this world and the Hereafter. Take my life as a Muslim and include me among the righteous.
