And they abstain from sexual relations;

The punishment of their Lord is not to be trusted.

They abstain from sexual intercourse;

Except for their wives, that is, those to whom their oaths/contracts entitle them. They will not be condemned.

but those who seek beyond that are the transgressors

They are trustworthy, true to their word;

They bear testimony properly;

They are diligent in their prayers.

They will be entertained in the heavens.
