The Light - 24:23 Those who slander the believing women who are chaste and unaware (of evil) will be cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and for them will be a great punishment.
Concerning those who falsely insult and slander the believers:
The Women/4:112 Whoever commits a fault or a sin and then blames it on the innocent, he has certainly borne a great slander and a manifest sin.
Prophet Joseph/12:24 She lusted after him, and he would have lusted after her too had he not seen the sign of his Lord. So We turned away evil and mischief from him, and he was of Our pure servants.
Prophet Joseph/12:25 "They ran towards the door. She tore his shirt from behind. They met her master near the door. The woman said: "Should not he who wants to rape your wife be imprisoned or punished with a painful torment?"
Prophet Joseph/12:26 "He said: "Actually, your wife wanted to seduce me."A family witness said: "If her shirt is torn in the front, she is telling the truth and he is a liar."
Prophet Joseph/12:27 "He testified, "If her shirt is torn from the back, then she is a liar and he is truthful."
Prophet Joseph/12:28 "When he saw that her shirt was torn in the back, he said, "This is the plan of you women. Your plan is great."
Prophet Joseph/12:29 Joseph, forget this incident. And you ask forgiveness for your sin. You have committed a mistake.
The Light/24:4 Those who accuse married women and cannot bring four witnesses, strike them with eighty strokes of the sword, and do not accept their testimony for ever. They are the ones who have gone astray.
The Light/24:11 A gang of you invented that slander. Do not think that it is bad for you; rather it is a good (lesson) for you. By the way, every one of them has shared the sin. And those of them who are the ringleaders deserve a great punishment.
The Light/24:12 "When you heard it, should not you believing men and women have said to each other, "This is clearly a great lie"?"
The Light/24:13 Should they not have brought four witnesses? Since they could not bring witnesses, they are liars with Allah.
The Light/24:14 Had it not been for Allah´s forgiveness and mercy to you in this world and the Hereafter, a great punishment would have touched you for what you were involved in.
The Light/24:15 You were talking about it on your tongues and you were talking about something of which you had no knowledge. You thought it a simple thing. But with Allah it is great.
The Light/24:16 "When you heard it, you said, "It is not right for us to talk about it. You are the Great. Should you not have said, "This is a great slander"?"
The Light/24:17 Allah admonishes you so that you may not repeat the like. If you are believers.
The Light/24:23 Those who slander the believing women who are chaste and unaware (of evil) will be cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and for them will be a great punishment.
The Coalition/33:58 Those who insult the believing men and women unjustly have borne a slander and a manifest sin.
The Apartments/49:6 O you who believe, if someone of evil disposition brings you news, investigate it. Otherwise you may unknowingly commit injustice against a people and then you may regret what you have done.
The Pen/68:10 Do not follow any of them: the swearing, the vile,
The Pen/68:11 The slanderer, the bearer of words,
The Pen/68:12 Obstructing goodness and help, aggressive, sinful.
The Pen/68:13 Unkind and dishonest.
The Slanderer/104:1 Woe to every gossiper and slanderer.
