The Poets - 26:226
And they say what they do not do.
Those who love to be praised for what they have not done:
The Cow/2:40
Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you, and keep your promise to Me, so that I may keep My promise to you; fear Me alone!
The Cow/2:41
Believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you. Do not be the first of those who oppose it. Do not exchange My signs for things of little value; fear Me alone.
The Cow/2:42
Do not knowingly confuse the truth with falsehood, and do not conceal the truth.
The Cow/2:43
Observe the prayer, pay the zakat, and bow down with those who bow down.
The Cow/2:44
Do you forget yourselves when you call the people to do good, and you read the Book, and do you not use your minds?
The Family Of Imran/3:188
Do not think that those who are proud of what they have given and love to be praised for what they have not done, do not think that they will escape the torment. For them is a painful torment.

As for the poets, the perverse follow them.

Saying what you do not do is one of the most disliked acts in the sight of Allah.

The example of those who were given the Torah and did not fulfill it is like that of a donkey carrying books. Woe to the people who deny the signs of Allah. Allah does not guide the unjust people to the truth.
