Luqman - 31:30
For Allah is the Truth, and what they call besides Him is falsehood, and Allah is the Most High and the Greatest.
They have no proof, no evidence that they are God:

"Those who associate partners will say: "If Allah had not willed, neither we nor our fathers would have associated partners, nor would we have forbidden anything."And those before them denied in the same way until they tasted Our torment. Say: "Do you have any knowledge with you that you can show us? You follow only conjecture (doubtful and contradictory narrations) and you are only guessing."
The Sandhills/46:4
"Say, "Look at those whom you invoke besides Allah. Show me what they have created from the earth. Or do they have a partnership in the heavens? Bring before me a book or a scientific document, if you are truthful?"
The Prophets/21:24
"Have they taken gods besides Him? Say, "Bring your proof. This is the message of my contemporaries and the message of those before me."But most of them turn away because they do not know the truth."
The Cave/18:15
This people of ours have taken other gods besides Him. Should they not have proved by clear proof that they are gods? Who is more unjust than he who fabricates a lie against Allah?

The Family Of Imran/3:151
We will strike fear into the hearts of the disbelievers because they associate with Allah those who have no power or authority. Their abode is the Fire. How evil is the abode of the wrongdoers!

Prophet Joseph/12:40
Those whom you serve besides Him are but names invented by you and your fathers. Allah has not given them any power. The judgment belongs to Allah alone. He has commanded you to serve Him alone. This is the true religion. But most of the people do not know this.

And whoever worships another god besides Allah, who has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord. Surely the disbelievers cannot succeed.

They are nothing but names that you and your fathers called them, and Allah has not sent down for them any proof. They follow only their delusions and personal desires, while a guidance has come to them from their Lord.
