The Coalition - 33:20
They think that the parties are not gone. If the Parties were to come again, they would wish that they were among the Bedouin Arabs in the desert and that they could ask about your news from afar. Even if they were among you, they would fight very little.
The hypocrites seek calamities for the believers:
The Repentance/9:98
Some of the Arabs consider their help a loss and a burden, and they look for calamities for you. The worst calamities are for them. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

When they meet you, they say: "We believe", but when they are alone, they bite their fingers out of anger against you. If good befalls you, it grieves them, and if evil befalls you, they rejoice in it. If you resist hardship and act virtuously, their plots will not harm you. Allah controls all that you do.
The Women/4:83
If a rumor reaches them about security or danger, they spread it. If they had conveyed it to the messenger and the authorities among them, their experts would have evaluated it. Had it not been for the grace and mercy of Allah upon you, you would have followed Satan except a few of you.

"The hypocrites and those whose hearts were diseased were saying: "The promise of Allah and His messenger to us is nothing but a pipe dream!"

"A group of them were saying, "People of Yathrib, you cannot hold on any longer; go back."The other group of them were asking permission from the Prophet, saying, "Our houses are unprotected,"even though their houses were protected. Their whole purpose was to escape."
The Coalition/33:14
If it had been occupied and they had been asked to join the enemy, they would have joined them without hesitation.
The Hypocrites/63:6
Whether you ask forgiveness for them or not, Allah will not forgive them. Allah does not guide the wayward people.
The Hypocrites/63:7
"They are the ones who say: "Do not help those who are with the Messenger of Allah so that they may be scattered."But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites cannot comprehend."
