The Forgiver - 40:55 So be patient. For the Word of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness for your sins and glorify your Lord in the evening and morning.
Prophet Muhammad was patient in following the decree (revelation) of his Lord:
The Romans/30:60 So be patient. The Word of Allah is the truth. Let not those who do not have firm faith lead you into slackness.
The Night Journey/17:73 They would almost have led you astray from what We have revealed to you so that you might invent something else and attribute it to Us. Then they would have taken you as a friend.
The Night Journey/17:74 If We had not made you firm, you would almost have inclined to them a little
The Night Journey/17:75 Then We would have made you taste the torment of life and death multiplied, then you would not have found any helper against Us.
The Cow/2:145 Even if you bring to those who have been given the Book all kinds of signs (miracles), they will still not turn towards your Qiblah. Nor will you follow their qibla. Nor do they follow each other´s qibla. If you follow their pleasure after this knowledge has come to you, you will be of the wrongdoers.
The Table Spread/5:48 We have sent down to you this Book, which confirms the previous Books and replaces them, as a comprehensive truth, so judge between them by what Allah has sent down to you. Do not leave the truth that has come to you and follow their whim. We have appointed for each of you a law and a method, and if Allah had willed, He would have made you all one people. But He tests you with what He has given you. Compete in good deeds. To Allah is the return of all of you. He will inform you of the matters on which you differ.
The Table Spread/5:49 You should judge between them by what Allah has revealed. Do not follow their pleasure. And let them not mislead you from some of what Allah has revealed to you. If they turn away, it means that Allah wants to punish them for some of their sins. Indeed most of the people have gone astray.
Prophet Jonah/10:15 "When Our clear Verses are recited to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Bring another Qur´an other than this, or change it!"Say: "I cannot change it from my own side. I follow only what has been revealed to me. If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a great Day."
Prophet Jonah/10:109 Follow what has been revealed to you and be patient until Allah judges. He is the best of the judges.
The Thunder/13:37 So We sent it down as an Arabic law. If you follow their pleasure after the knowledge that has come to you, you will have no friend or protector against Allah.
Council/42:15 "Call to it and follow it as you have been commanded. Do not follow their desires and say: "I believe in the Book which Allah has sent down to me, and I am commanded to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. What we have done is for us and what you have done is for you. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will bring us together. To Him is the final return."
The Kneeling/45:18 Then We gave you a law about religion; you should follow it, and do not follow the whims of those who do not know.

The Bee/16:127 Be patient, your patience is only with the help of Allah. Do not grieve for them and do not worry about their plots.
The Sandhills/46:35 Be patient, as the apostles who had resolution and determination were patient, and do not hasten for them. When they see what is promised to them, it is as if they had remained in the world for an hour of the day. This is a declaration: Who will be destroyed but a people who have gone astray?
