The Women - 4:38 These give their wealth to the people for show. They do not believe in Allah and the Last Day. Whoever has Satan as his companion has a very bad companion.
What hypocrites do in the name of religion is a source of vanity and pride:
The Repentance/9:53 "Say: "Whether you help the poor voluntarily or involuntarily, it will not be accepted from you. For you are a people who have gone astray."
The Repentance/9:54 The only obstacle to their help being accepted is this: They have disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, they are only lazy in prayer and reluctant in charity.

The Cow/2:264 Believers! Do not waste your charity by insulting and persecuting, like the one who does not believe in Allah and the Last Day but gives charity to show off to the people. The example of such behavior is like a rock on which dust has accumulated so that a heavy downpour leaves it bare. They will gain nothing from what they have done. Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

The Women/4:36 Serve Allah and associate with Him nothing and no one. Do good to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, near neighbors, distant neighbors, companions, travelers, and those to whom your oaths/agreements are due. Allah does not love the arrogant and conceited.
The Women/4:37 These are stingy and they advise the people to be stingy. They conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty. We have prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment.
The Women/4:38 These give their wealth to the people for show. They do not believe in Allah and the Last Day. Whoever has Satan as his companion has a very bad companion.

Act of Kindness/107:5 Those who are totally ignorant of their prayers.

The Women/4:142 The hypocrites think that they deceive Allah. But He leaves them (thus) deceived. When they rise for prayer, they rise lazily. Because they show off to people and remember Allah very little.

The Spoils of War/8:47 Do not be like those arrogant ones who went out of their homes, showing off to the people, to hinder the way of Allah. Allah encompasses around them what they do.

The City/90:5 Does he think that We are not able to overcome him?
The City/90:6 "He says (boastfully), "I have spent a lot of money."
The City/90:7 Does he think that no one sees him?
