بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
4:141 "They keep watch over you. When a victory comes to you from Allah, they say, "Were we not with you?"And when it is the turn of the disbelievers to win, they say, "Did we not protect you from the believers by supporting you?"On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will judge between you. Allah will not give the disbelievers the opportunity to rule over the believers."
4:142 The hypocrites think that they deceive Allah. But He leaves them (thus) deceived. When they rise for prayer, they rise lazily. Because they show off to people and remember Allah very little.
4:143 They waver in between, neither joining them nor joining them. You will not find a way for those whom Allah misleads.
4:144 Believers, leave the believers and do not take the disbelievers as friends. Do you want to give Allah a proof to use against you!
4:145 The hypocrites are in the lowest level of the Fire. You will find no one to help them.
4:146 Except those who repent, make amends, cling to Allah and make their religion belong to Allah alone... These are with the believers. Allah will then give the believers a great reward.
4:147 Why should Allah punish you if you give thanks and believe? Allah is the Recompenser, the Mighty.
4:148 Allah does not like bad language. Except for those who are wronged. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
4:149 And if you reveal or conceal a good deed, or forgive an evil deed, Allah is Forgiving, Powerful.
4:150 "Those who oppose Allah and His messenger, those who seek to separate between Allah and His messengers, those who say: "We believe in part and disbelieve in part,"and those who seek a way between the two."
4:151 These are the true disbelievers. For the disbelievers We are preparing a painful torment.
4:152 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them, He will give their reward in the Hereafter. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
4:153 "The people of the Book ask you to send down to them a Book from the sky. They had asked Moses for something greater than that and said, "Show us Allah physically". They were struck by lightning because of their transgression. They served the calf even after clear proofs came to them. Again We forgave them, and We gave Moses a clear authority."
4:154 "We raised Mount Sinai above them, and We said to them, "Enter humbly through the gate."We said to them, "Do not transgress the prohibition of Saturday"; and We took from them a firm promise."
4:155 "Allah sealed their understanding because of their breaking their word, because they disbelieved in the signs and proofs of Allah, because they killed the prophets unjustly, and because they said: "We are fixed-minded", yes, because of their disbelief. Therefore few of them believe."
4:156 Because of their disbelief and forging a great lie about Mary.
4:157 "And because they said: "We killed Jesus Christ, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah"... But they did not kill him nor hang him, but they thought that they had done so. All sects are in doubt about this. They do not have any knowledge about it; they are only following conjecture. They did not kill him with certainty."
4:158 On the contrary, Allah raised him to Himself; Allah is Exalted, Wise.
4:159 Every one of those to whom the Book was given must believe in him before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them.
4:160 Because of the injustice committed by the Jews and because they turned many away from the Way of Allah, We forbade them the good things that were lawful before.
