The Table Spread/5:12 "Allah had taken a promise from the Children of Israel and We sent twelve leaders from among them. Allah said: "I am with you if you observe the prayer, pay the zakat, believe in My messengers and respect them, and lend to Allah a good debt. I will cover your sins and give you gardens in which rivers flow. So whoever of you disbelieves after that has gone astray from the right path."
The Table Spread/5:14 "We also took a promise from those who said, "We are Christians,"but they too forgot some of what they were warned about. So We put enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. Allah will inform them of all that they did."

The Heights/7:157 Indeed, they follow (when the time comes) that messenger whom they find written in the Torah and the Gospel with them, the Messenger of Allah, the Messenger of the Ummim (who has not read the Torah and the Gospel), who enjoins upon them good and forbids them from evil, who makes lawful for them good things and forbids for them unclean things, who removes from them the weights and the fetters that weigh them down. Those who believe in him and respect him and help him and follow the light sent down with him are the successful ones.

The Iron/57:27 Then We sent Our messengers after them, one after another. We also sent Jesus the son of Mary and gave him the Gospel, and We put compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. But they invented for themselves a spirituality which We did not approve of them. Whereas We had asked them to follow only that which would please Allah. And they did not observe it properly. We gave the believers among them their reward, but many of them were astray.

The Clear Evidence/98:4 Verily, those who were given the Book differed only after clear proof came to them.
The Clear Evidence/98:5 But they were asked to serve Him as monotheists whose religion belongs to Allah alone, and to observe prayer and pay the zakat. This is the true religion.
