The One Covering Himself - 73:14
The day will come when the earth and the mountains will tremble and the mountains will be like scattered sand.
The end of the world is at a certain time:
Originator/35:13
He puts the night into the day and the day into the night. And He has placed under His command the sun and the moon, which go forth until an appointed time. Such is Allah your Lord; to Him belongs the sovereignty. And those whom you call upon besides Him cannot rule even the membrane of a kernel.
Luqman/31:29
Do you not see that Allah has put the night into the day and the day into the night, and that He has the sun and the moon under His control, and that each of them is passing by until an appointed term, and that Allah is aware of what they do?

Do they not think that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, is able to create their like again? Indeed, He has set for them a definite and certain term. The wrongdoers still disbelieve.

Have they not considered for themselves that Allah has created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for a purpose and for a definite term? Nevertheless, the majority of people disbelieve in meeting their Lord.

That Hour which weighs heavily on the heavens and the earth will come to you suddenly. They ask you as if you are aware of it. Say, "With Allah is its knowledge."But most of the people do not know."
Luqman/31:34
With Allah is the knowledge of the Hour (the last hour of the world). He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No one knows what will happen to him tomorrow, nor does anyone know where he will die. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Knowing.
The Ornaments of Gold/43:85
Exalted is He who has the government of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. With Him is the knowledge of the Hour (the end of the world) and to Him you will be returned.
