The Spoils of War - 8:33
Allah will not torment them while you are among them. Nor will Allah punish them while they ask forgiveness.
It is a law of Allah that those who contend with the Messengers are destroyed:
The Coalition/33:60
If the hypocrites, those in whose hearts is a disease, and the aggressors in the city do not cease (their aggression against you), We will send you against them, then they may stay in your neighborhood for a short time.
The Coalition/33:61
They will be cursed; wherever they are found, they may be seized and killed (if they do not cease their aggression).
The Coalition/33:62
It is the Sunnah (law) of Allah which has been applied to those before. You will not find any change in the Sunnah of Allah.

They will almost force you out of the land. In that case they will not stay long after you

"Say to those who disbelieve: "If they cease, what they did in the past will be forgiven. If they turn back, the Sunnah (law) of those who were before is valid."

In the end We save Our messengers and those who believe. Yes, it is Our unchanging law to save those who believe.

We did not send before you except men whom We revealed to you from among the inhabitants of the cities. Do they not travel through the earth and see the fate of those before them? Is the abode of the Hereafter better for the righteous; do you not understand?

When the messengers gave up hope and thought that they had been deceived, then Our victory came to them. Indeed, whom We will, We will save. Our torment cannot be turned back from the guilty people.
Originator/35:42
They swore by Allah with all their might that if a warner came to them, they would be on a more right path than any people. When a messenger came to them, it only increased their hatred

They were arrogant in the earth and plotted evil. But the evil plan backfires on its owner. Do they expect anything other than the Sunnah (law) that was applied to the past? You shall not see any change in the Sunnah of Allah; you shall not see any deviation in the Sunnah of Allah.

Have they not traveled the earth to see how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than themselves. Nothing in the heavens and the earth can humble Allah. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
The Forgiver/40:84
"When they finally see Our punishment, they say: "We have believed in Allah ONLY, and we have disbelieved in that which we associate with partners"."
The Forgiver/40:85
It will not benefit them to believe when they see Our torment. This is the Sunnah (law) of Allah, which has always been applied to His former servants. Then the disbelievers will be losers.
The Victory/48:21
As for the other group whom you are not able, Allah encompasses them. Surely Allah is all-powerful.

If the disbelievers had fought with you, they would have turned and fled. Then they would find neither a master nor a helper.

This is the Sunnah (system) of Allah that has been practiced from time immemorial. You will not find any change in the Sunnah of Allah.

Believers, whoever turns away from his religion, know this: Allah brings a people whom He loves, and they love Him. They are humble towards the believers and strong and firm against the disbelievers. They strive hard in the way of Allah and do not fear the condemnation of those who condemn. This is the bounty of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills. Allah is Generous, Knowing.
