بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
2:201 "And some say, "Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter. Protect us from the torment of the Fire"."
2:202 Each of them has a share of what they have earned. Allah is quick in reckoning.
2:203 Remember Allah on the numbered days (in Mina). There is no sin on him who hastens to finish it in two days, nor is there any sin on him who lags behind, as long as he is righteous. Listen to Allah, and remember that you will be gathered before Him.
2:204 There are some whose words about the life of this world are pleasing to you. He keeps Allah as a witness to what is in his heart, even though he is a fierce enemy.
2:205 When he turns away, he strives to make corruption in the earth and to destroy property and generation. Allah does not love corruption.
2:206 "When he is told, "Listen to Allah,"he rages in arrogance and pride. Hell will befall him; what an evil abode!"
2:207 And among the people there is one who devotes himself to gaining Allah´s pleasure. Allah is very compassionate to His servants.
2:208 Believers, submit completely. Do not follow the steps of Satan, for he is your manifest enemy.
2:209 And if you stray from the right path even though clear proofs have come to you, know that Allah is All-Superior, All-Wise.
2:210 Are they waiting for Allah and the angels to come to them from the dense clouds? Then everything would be over and everything would be returned to Allah.
2:211 Ask the Children of Israel, how many clear signs We gave them! Allah will inflict a severe punishment on those who change the favor of Allah after it has come to them.
2:212 The life of this world is attractive for the disbelievers. That is why they mock the believers. But the righteous are above them on the Day of Resurrection. Allah bestows bounties to whom He wills without calculation.
2:213 Mankind were a single community. Allah sent messengers as bearers of glad tidings and warners and sent down with them the Book containing the truth so that they might judge between the people in matters wherein they differed. But those who were given the Book disputed about it out of envy among themselves after clear proofs had come to them. But Allah, by His permission, brought the believers to the truth about which they differed. Allah guides whom He wills/whosoever He wills.
2:214 "Or do you think that you will enter Paradise until the like of what happened to those before you befalls you? They suffered hardship and distress and were so shaken that the apostle and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?"Know well that Allah´s help is near."
2:215 "They ask you how they can help. Say, "You should give in money and property to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor and the wayfarers."Allah knows every good deed you do."
2:216 War has been made obligatory upon you though you dislike it. What you dislike may be good for you and what you like may be bad for you. Allah knows, even if you do not know.
2:217 "They ask you about fighting in the Holy Month. Say: "Fighting on it is a great sin. But to turn away from the way of Allah and to be ungrateful to Him and to the Holy Mosque and to drive out its people from it is a greater sin with Allah. For oppression and cruelty is a greater crime than killing."If they could, they would fight you until they turn you back from your religion. Whoever of you turns away from his religion and dies as an unbeliever, all that he did will be in vain in this world and in the Hereafter. They are the people of the Fire and will abide therein forever."
2:218 Those who believe and migrate and strive in the Way of Allah hope for the Mercy of Allah. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
2:219 "They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: Say: "There is a great sin in both of them and benefits for mankind, but their sin is greater than their benefit."They also ask you what they should give in charity: Say, "The surplus."This is how Allah explains His verses so that you may reflect"
2:220 "About this world and the Hereafter And they ask you about orphans: Say, "It is the greatest good if you bring them up as righteous people. If you add their property to your property, they will become members of your family."Allah knows how to distinguish the corrupt from the righteous. Had Allah willed, He could have made you hardship. Allah is Mighty, Wise."
