بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

21:21 Have they taken gods from the earth, capable of resurrection?

21:22 Had there been gods other than Allah in those two (the heavens and the earth), both would have fallen into chaos. Allah, the Owner of absolute authority, is far from their characterizations.

21:23 He will not be questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.

21:24 "Have they taken gods besides Him? Say, "Bring your proof. This is the message of my contemporaries and the message of those before me."But most of them turn away because they do not know the truth."

21:25 "We did not send a messenger before you except that We revealed to him, "There is no god but Me; serve Me alone."

21:26 "They said: "The Most Merciful has taken a child". He is exalted. But they are honorable servants."

21:27 They do not utter a word before Him, and they follow His commands strictly.

21:28 He knows their past and their future. They do not intercede for anyone except those whom He pleases. Even they tremble in reverence before Him.

21:29 "Whoever of them says, "I am a god beside Him,"We will punish him with Hell; thus do We reward the wrongdoers."

21:30 Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were joined together and We exploded them? And We created every living creature from water. Will they still not believe?

21:31 We placed mountains on the earth so that it might not shake them, and We made in it wide passages for them to find the way.

21:32 We made the sky a protected ceiling. Yet they are indifferent to the signs in it.

21:33 He it is Who has created the night, the day, the sun and the moon. All of them move in an orbit.

21:34 We did not make any human being immortal before you. If you die, will they remain eternal?

21:35 Every soul will taste death. We test you with good and evil events as a test, and to Us is your return.

21:36 "When the disbelievers (those who cover the truth) see you, they do not react except to make you the target of their mockery, saying, "Is this the one who talks about your gods?"They completely deny the message of the Most Merciful."

21:37 Humans have been created hasty. I will show you My signs; so do not hurry.

21:38 "They challenge, "When will that promise be fulfilled if you are truthful?"

21:39 If only those who disbelieve knew the moment when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces and their backs, nor will they be helped.

21:40 Indeed, it will come upon them suddenly and will overwhelm them. They will not be able to turn it back, nor will they be given a time limit.
