بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
2:21 People! Serve your Lord, Who created you and those before you, so that you may be protected.
2:22 He has made the earth habitable for you and made the heaven a structure. He has sent down water from the sky and brought forth from it various crops for you as sustenance. Do not knowingly associate partners with Allah.
2:23 If you doubt what We have sent down to Our servant, bring a surah like it. And call to your aid all your witnesses besides Allah, if you are truthful.
2:24 If you cannot do that, and you will never be able to do that, then beware of the Fire prepared for the disbelievers, whose fuel is mankind and stones.
2:25 "Give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds with gardens in which rivers flow. When they are offered sustenance from the produce therein, they say: "This is what was offered to us before". So they are given metaphorical descriptions (analogies). For them therein are pure wives, and they will abide therein forever."
2:26 "Allah does not hesitate to give the example of a mosquito or even the one on it. The believers know that this is a truth from their Lord. But the disbelievers say, "What did Allah intend by this analogy?"He leads many astray by it and guides many to the truth. He leads astray with it only the disbelievers."
2:27 Those who, after pledging allegiance to their covenant with Allah, break it, cut off what Allah has commanded to be joined, and make corruption in the earth. They are the losers.
2:28 How can you disbelieve in Allah? You were dead and He raised you up. Then He kills you and resurrects you again and to Him you will be returned.
2:29 It is He who created for you everything on the earth. Then He turned to the heavens and organized them into seven heavens. He is All-Knowing.
2:30 "Your Lord had said to the angels: "I will place a caliph on the earth."And the angels said: "Will you place therein one who will cause corruption and shed blood? We praise you and glorify you and approve of your absolute authority."He said: "I know what you do not know."
2:31 "He taught Adam all the names (attributes), then He presented them to the angels and said: "Tell me the names (attributes) of these, if you are truthful"."
2:32 "They said: "You are the Almighty, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. You are the Knower, the Wise."
2:33 "He said: "Adam! Inform them of their names."When he informed them of their names, he said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?"
2:34 "We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam."They all prostrated except Iblis, but he persisted and was arrogant and ungrateful."
2:35 "Adam! Stay in Paradise with your wife. Eat of it abundantly wherever you wish, but do not approach that tree, lest you be of the wrongdoers"."
2:36 "Satan deceived them and drove them out from there. Finally We said, "Go down as enemies to one another. You will dwell on the earth for a certain term."
2:37 Adam received words from his Lord. So He accepted his repentance. He is the Recompenser of the inclinations, the Most Merciful.
2:38 "We said: "Come down from there, all of you,"and We said: "When a Guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow that Guidance will have no fear and they will not grieve."
2:39 And those who deny and disbelieve in Our signs are condemned to the Fire; they will abide therein forever.
2:40 Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you, and keep your promise to Me, so that I may keep My promise to you; fear Me alone!
