بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
47:1 Those who disbelieve and turn away from the way of Allah, He makes void all their deeds.
47:2 As for those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in that which has been sent down to Muhammad as a truth from their Lord, He will cover their sins and make them right.
47:3 Because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. This is how Allah exhibits the state of the people.
47:4 When you meet those who disbelieve in battle, strike their centers of control. And when you are victorious, take them captive and release them either for nothing or for ransom. Do this until the state of war ceases. Had Allah willed, He would have spared you the trouble of war, but He is testing you one against another in this way. As for those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will not make their deeds vain.
47:6 He will admit them into Paradise which He has introduced to them.
47:7 O you who believe, if you support Allah, He will support you and keep your feet firm.
47:8 As for those who disbelieve, they deserve destruction; He has made their deeds vain.
47:9 Because they disliked what Allah has revealed. So He has nullified their deeds.
47:10 Do they not travel the earth to see how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them and the same end awaits these disbelievers.
47:11 Because Allah is the protector of the believers. The disbelievers have no protector.
47:12 Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds into Gardens into which rivers flow. As for the disbelievers, they eat and live like animals and will end up in the Fire.
47:13 There were many countries more powerful than the country that brought you out, but We destroyed them and no one helped them.
47:14 Is he like him who is on a proof from his Lord, whose evil deeds seem good to him? They follow their desires.
47:15 This is the example of Paradise promised to the righteous: In it are rivers of pure water, rivers of milk whose taste does not spoil, rivers of intoxicants that give flavor to those who drink them, and rivers of strained honey. For them therein are all kinds of produce and forgiveness from their Lord. Will their condition be like that of those who are made to drink of boiling water which stays in the fire permanently and tears their bowels?
47:16 "There are some of them who listen to you. But when they leave you, they ask those to whom they have been given knowledge, "What did he say just now?"These are they whose hearts Allah has stamped, and they follow their desires."
47:17 As for those who find the right path, He increases their guidance and makes them virtuous.
47:18 Do they expect the Hour to come upon them suddenly? Surely its signs have already come. What is the use of the message that comes to them when it comes upon them?
47:19 Know that there is no god but Allah. Ask forgiveness for your sins and the sins of believing men and believing women. Allah knows all your actions and the place where you will stand.
47:20 "The believers used to say, "What if a period (permitting war) were sent down?"But when a clear surah is sent down and war is mentioned in it, you see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at you as one faints for fear of death. It is suitable for them,"
