بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
4:81 "They say: "All right, we obey". But when they leave you, some of them plot the opposite of what they said. Allah records what they plan and plot. Pay no attention to them; trust in Allah. Allah is sufficient as a supporter."
4:82 Do they not examine the Qur´an? Had it belonged to anyone other than Allah, they would have found many contradictions in it.
4:83 If a rumor reaches them about security or danger, they spread it. If they had conveyed it to the messenger and the authorities among them, their experts would have evaluated it. Had it not been for the grace and mercy of Allah upon you, you would have followed Satan except a few of you.
4:84 You must fight in the way of Allah. You are responsible only for yourself. Encourage the believers to do the same so that Allah may neutralize the power of the disbelievers. Allah´s power is more severe and His punishment is more severe.
4:85 Whoever mediates a good deed has a credit for himself. And whoever mediates evil, for him is a share of it. Allah controls everything.
4:86 And when you are greeted with a greeting, receive it with a better one or return it in kind. Surely Allah takes into account everything.
4:87 Allah: There is no god but Him. He will gather you together on the Day of Resurrection, which is certain to take place. Who is more truthful than Allah?
4:88 Why do you divide yourselves into two groups about the hypocrites? Allah has turned them upside down because of what they used to do. Do you want to guide those whom Allah has led astray? You will find no way for him whom Allah has led astray.
4:89 They wanted you to disbelieve as they disbelieved so that you might become one with them. Do not take any of them as friends until they take action in the way of Allah. If they turn against you, seize them and kill them wherever you find them. Take them neither as friends nor as helpers;
4:90 Except those who join a community with whom there is a treaty between you, or who come to you distressed in their breasts because of fighting you or their own people... If Allah had willed, He would have made them to fight against you and they would have fought against you. But if they leave you alone and do not fight you and offer you peace, Allah will not allow you to attack them.
4:91 You will find another group who wish to stand in safety both with you and with their own people. Whenever they are called to turmoil, they plunge into it. If they do not leave you alone and do not want to make peace and do not remove their hands from you, you may kill them wherever you meet them. We have given you clear authority against such people.
4:92 A believer shall not kill a believer except by accident. Whoever kills a believer by accident must release a believing slave and pay a diet to the family of the deceased. Unless they give up the diet and accept it as charity. If it is a believer from a community that is at war with you, then you must release a believing slave. But if the deceased belongs to a community with whom you have an agreement, then you must give his family a diet and release a believing slave. Whoever cannot find the money or a slave to release should fast for two months in a row so that Allah may accept his repentance. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
4:93 Whoever intentionally kills a believer, his place is Hell, where he will abide forever. Allah has wrath and curse upon him. And has prepared for him a great torment.
4:94 "Believers, be careful when you go out to fight in the way of Allah. Do not say to anyone who offers you peace, "You do not believe,"for the temporary benefit of this world´s life. For with Allah is much booty. You were like them before, but Allah has favored you. So search well and be sure. Allah is All-Knowing of what you do."
4:95 Those of the believers who sit in their places without a valid excuse are not equal to those who fight in the Way of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has made those who fight with their wealth and their lives superior in rank to those who sit. Allah promises them all good things. However, Allah has made those who fight superior to those who sit with a greater reward;
4:96 with degrees from Himself and forgiveness and mercy. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
4:97 "When the angels take the lives of those who wronged themselves: "In what state were you?"they will say. They will reply: "We were the oppressed people of the earth". They will say: "Was not Allah´s earth spacious so that you might have migrated to it?"Their place is Hell. What an evil place of return."
4:98 Except the oppressed, men, women and children, who have no means of escape and cannot find a way to migrate.
4:99 Such are hoped to be forgiven by Allah. Allah is Forgiving, Forgiving.
4:100 Whoever migrates in the way of Allah will find abundance and plenty of shelter in the earth. And whoever leaves his home to migrate to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, it is for Allah to reward him. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
