Ta-Ha - 20:118
Here you will neither be hungry nor exposed.
Adam and Iblis:
The Cow/2:30
"Your Lord had said to the angels: "I will place a caliph on the earth."And the angels said: "Will you place therein one who will cause corruption and shed blood? We praise you and glorify you and approve of your absolute authority."He said: "I know what you do not know."
The Cow/2:31
"He taught Adam all the names (attributes), then He presented them to the angels and said: "Tell me the names (attributes) of these, if you are truthful"."
The Cow/2:32
"They said: "You are the Almighty, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. You are the Knower, the Wise."
The Cow/2:33
"He said: "Adam! Inform them of their names."When he informed them of their names, he said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?"
The Cow/2:34
"We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam."They all prostrated except Iblis, but he persisted and was arrogant and ungrateful."
The Cow/2:35
"Adam! Stay in Paradise with your wife. Eat of it abundantly wherever you wish, but do not approach that tree, lest you be of the wrongdoers"."
The Cow/2:36
"Satan deceived them and drove them out from there. Finally We said, "Go down as enemies to one another. You will dwell on the earth for a certain term."
The Cow/2:37
Adam received words from his Lord. So He accepted his repentance. He is the Recompenser of the inclinations, the Most Merciful.
The Cow/2:38
"We said: "Come down from there, all of you,"and We said: "When a Guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow that Guidance will have no fear and they will not grieve."
The Cow/2:39
And those who deny and disbelieve in Our signs are condemned to the Fire; they will abide therein forever.
The Heights/7:11
"We created you, then gave you form, then We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam."All of them prostrated except Iblis, but he was not of those who prostrated."
The Heights/7:12
"He said: "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?"(Iblis said:) "I am better than him; You created me of fire and created him of clay."
The Heights/7:13
"Come down from there,"he said, "You cannot be arrogant there. Get out of there. You have lost your worth!"
The Heights/7:14
"He said, "Give me time until the day when they will rise again."
The Heights/7:15
"He said, "You have been given time."
The Heights/7:16
I will sit slyly for them on your straight path in return for your misleading me.
The Heights/7:17
Then I will sneak upon them from before them and behind them and from their right and their left, so you will not find many of them grateful.
The Heights/7:18
"He said: "Come out of it despised and dismissed. As for those of them who follow you, I will fill Hell with all of you."
The Heights/7:19
"He said: "Adam, you and your wife stay in Paradise and eat from whatever you wish, but do not eat from that tree, lest you be of the wrongdoers."
The Heights/7:20
"Satan whispered to them in order to reveal their bodies which were hidden from them, saying: "The reason why your Lord has forbidden you from this tree is that you two are not angels or eternal beings."
The Heights/7:21
"He also swore to them: "I give you advice."
The Heights/7:22
"So he deceived them with lies. When they tasted the tree, their bodies appeared to them. They began to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise. Their Lord called them: "Did I not forbid you both from that tree and did I not tell you that Satan is an enemy to you both?"
The Heights/7:23
"Both of them said: "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves; if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we shall be of the losers"."
The Heights/7:24
"He said: "Come down as enemies to one another. You will inhabit the earth for a while."
The Heights/7:25
"He said: "There you will live, there you will die, and from there you will be brought forth."
The Night Journey/17:61
"When We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam,"they all prostrated except Iblis. He said, "Am I to prostrate to what you created out of clay?"
The Night Journey/17:62
"He said, "Do you see this one whom You have made superior to me? If You delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will possess and destroy his progeny except a few."
The Night Journey/17:63
"He said: "Go with those of them who follow you. You are on your way to Hell, a punishment fit for you."
The Night Journey/17:64
"He said: "Displace with your voice as many of them as you can, mobilize against them all your power and all your men, share in some of their money and some of their children, and give them hope; Satan only gives them false hope."
The Night Journey/17:65
"As for My servants, you have no power over them."Your Lord is sufficient as a protector."
The Cave/18:50
"When We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", they all prostrated, except Iblis. He became one of the jinn because he disobeyed the command of his Lord. Do you take him and his progeny as your friends besides Me, while they are your enemies? What an evil change is this for the wrongdoers."
Ta-Ha/20:115
We took a promise from Adam in the past, but he forgot. We did not see in him any resolve or determination.
Ta-Ha/20:116
"When We said, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam,"the angels prostrated, except Iblis; he refused."
Ta-Ha/20:117
"Adam,"We said, "this is the enemy of you and your wife. Do not let him drive you out of Paradise, or you will be miserable."
Ta-Ha/20:118
Here you will neither be hungry nor exposed.
Ta-Ha/20:119
Here you will neither suffer thirst nor heat.
Ta-Ha/20:120
"Satan whispered to him, "Adam, shall I show you the tree of eternity and an inexhaustible kingdom?"
Ta-Ha/20:121
They both ate of it, and then their bodies appeared to them. They tried to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise. Adam disobeyed his Lord and was surprised.
Ta-Ha/20:122
Then his Lord chose him and forgave him and guided him.
Ta-Ha/20:123
"He said, "Go down from there as enemies to one another. When a guide comes to you from me, whoever follows my way will not go astray and will not be miserable."
