The Criterion - 25:30
"And the Messenger says, "My Lord, my people have abandoned the Qur´an."
How the people abandoned the Qur'an:
The Cattle/6:112
So We have made enemies to every prophet the devils from mankind and the jinn, and they utter to each other gilded words to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they could not have done so. Pay no attention to them and their slander.
The Cattle/6:113
So that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may be attracted to it, that they may delight in it, and that they may do what they really want to do. . .
The Cattle/6:114
Shall I seek a lawgiver besides Allah, Who has sent down to you the Book in detail? Those to whom We have given the Book know that it has been sent down from your Lord. So do not be of those who doubt.
The Cattle/6:115
The words of your Lord are complete in truth and justice. There is none who can change His words. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
The Cattle/6:116
If you follow most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from the Way of Allah. They follow only conjecture and they only speculate and talk nonsense.
The Cattle/6:117
Your Lord knows best those who deviate from His Way. And He knows best those who are on the right path.
The Cattle/6:118
Eat of that on which Allah´s Name is mentioned, if you believe in His Verses.
The Cattle/6:119
What is the matter with you that you do not eat of that on which Allah´s Name is mentioned, whereas He has explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you except in cases of necessity. Many mislead the people with their personal opinions which are not based on knowledge. Your Lord knows best those who transgress.
The Cattle/6:159
You have nothing to do with those who divide their religion into parts and go in groups. Their affair is up to Allah; then He will inform them of their situation.
The Heights/7:3
Follow what has been sent down to you from your Lord, and do not follow others besides Him as your friends. How little do you take admonition!

Is it not time for the believers to open their hearts to the Message of Allah and the truth that has come down? Let them not be like those to whom the Book was given before; their hearts were hardened when a long time had passed over them. The majority of them are those who have gone astray.
