The Family Of Imran - 3:75 "Among the people of the Book is such that if you leave him a large trust, he will repay you in full. But there is one of them who, if you entrusted him with a Dinar, he would not pay it back unless you stood over him. This is because they say, "We have no responsibility towards the Ummis,"and they knowingly attribute their lies to Allah."
The people of the Book changed the verses of the Book which did not suit them according to their interests, so they attributed their lies to Allah:
The Cow/2:111 "They said: "None but Jews or Christians will enter Paradise". This is their delusion. Say: "Bring your proofs if you are truthful."
The Cow/2:135 "They said: "Become Jews or Christians so that you may be guided". Say: "No, we follow the monotheistic religion of Abraham. He was not of those who associate partners."
The Table Spread/5:18 "The Jews and Christians said, "We are the children and lovers of Allah. "Then why does He punish you for your sins? You are only of His creation,"say. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and to Him is the return."
The Table Spread/5:72 "Those who say: "Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,"have certainly disbelieved. But the Messiah said, "Children of Israel, serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners with Allah, Allah forbids him Paradise, and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no helper for the wrongdoers."
The Table Spread/5:73 "Those who say: "Allah is the third of three"have disbelieved. But there is no god but one God. A painful torment will touch the disbelievers if they do not cease this."
The Repentance/9:30 "The Jews said: "Uzeyr is the son of Allah". And the Christians said: "Christ is the son of Allah". This is the word of their mouths. They imitate the words of those who disbelieved before. Allah will condemn them. How are they being converted?"
The Cow/2:59 But the wrongdoers among you exchanged the words given to them for other words. Indeed, We sent down a torment from the sky upon the wrongdoers because they went astray.
The Cow/2:140 "Do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants were Jews or Christians? Say: "Do you know better or Allah? Who is more unjust than he who conceals what Allah has revealed? Allah is not heedless of what you do."
The Cow/2:146 Those to whom We have given the Book recognize these truths as they recognize their children, yet a group of them knowingly conceal the truth.
The Cow/2:147 This is the truth from your Lord; so do not doubt.
The Cow/2:159 Those who conceal the clear proofs and guidance which We have sent down - after We have made it public in the Book - are cursed by Allah and all those who curse.
The Cow/2:174 Those who conceal something from the Book which Allah has sent down and exchange it for a little, they are stuffing fire in their bellies. Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection nor purify them. For them is a painful torment.
The Cow/2:175 They have bought error for guidance and torment for forgiveness. How resistant they are to the fire!
The Family Of Imran/3:77 Those who exchange their pledge to Allah and their oaths for a small price have no share in the Hereafter. Allah will not speak to them, nor will He look upon them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. For them is a painful torment.
The Family Of Imran/3:187 "Allah had taken a promise from those to whom the Book was given, saying, "You will certainly make it clear to the people and you will not conceal it."But they threw it behind their backs and sold it for a small price. What an evil exchange!"
The Table Spread/5:13 We cursed them and hardened their hearts because they broke their promises. They take the meaning of words out of context. They have forgotten some of what they were warned about. From most of them you will see constant betrayal. Forgive them and ignore them. Allah loves those who do good.
The Table Spread/5:15 People of the Book, our messenger has come to you, who has revealed to you many parts of the Book which you have concealed, and many of them he has not thrown in your faces. And there has come to you a light from Allah and a clear Book.
Mary/19:58 These are some of the prophets whom Allah has blessed. From the descendants of Adam, from those whom We carried with Noah, from the descendants of Abraham and Israel. They are those whom We have guided and chosen. When the verses of the Most Merciful are recited to them, they prostrate themselves weeping.
Mary/19:59 Those who came after them lost the prayer and followed their desires. Indeed, they will suffer calamity.
