The Forgiver - 40:43 Surely what you call me to has no foundation in this world or the Hereafter. To Allah is our return. Those who transgress will end up in Hell.
Pharaoh was a violent leader who proclaimed himself a god, and his people followed him:
The Stories/28:38 "Pharaoh said, "O you elders, I do not know a better god for you than I. Haman, prepare bricks for me by kindling a fire in the clay and build a tower so that I may reach the God of Moses. I believe that he is a liar."
The Stories/28:39 He and his army became arrogant in the earth unjustly and thought that they would not return to Us.
The Stories/28:40 We seized them and their army and threw them into the sea. Behold how is the end of the wrongdoers.
The Stories/28:41 We made them leaders who call to the Fire, and they will not be helped on the Day of Resurrection.

The Ornaments of Gold/43:51 "Pharaoh said to his people: "O my people, does not the government of Egypt and the rivers flowing under me belong to me? Do you not see?"
The Ornaments of Gold/43:52 Or am I not superior to this man who is vile and unable to speak?
The Ornaments of Gold/43:53 Why is he not given a treasure of gold, or why do not angels come to work with him?
The Ornaments of Gold/43:54 So he misled his people and they followed him. They were a vulgar people.

Those Who Pull Out/79:17 Go to Pharaoh; he was a man of folly.
Those Who Pull Out/79:18 Tell him: Will you not purify yourself?
Those Who Pull Out/79:19 I will guide you to your Lord that you may respect Him.
Those Who Pull Out/79:24 "He said, "I am your Lord, the Most High."
Those Who Pull Out/79:25 In the end, Allah struck him with the punishment of the Hereafter and the world.
