The Smoke - 44:17 We tested the people of Pharaoh before them, and an honorable messenger went to them:
In the context of verses 17, 18...21; the Prophet Moses going with proofs and miracles, and Pharaoh and his council being arrogant and denying:
The Heights/7:104 "Moses: "Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Universes."
The Heights/7:105 It is my duty not to say anything about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with a proof from your Lord; release the Children of Israel with me.
The Heights/7:106 "He said: "If you have come with a sign (miracle) and you are truthful, bring it."
The Heights/7:107 He threw out his staff and it became a great serpent.
The Heights/7:108 He took out his hand and it became white for those who looked.
The Heights/7:109 "The elders of Pharaoh´s people discussed the matter and said: "This is an expert magician","
The Heights/7:110 He wants to drive you out of your land. What do you suggest?

Prophet Jonah/10:75 Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his council with Our miracles, but they were arrogant and became a guilty people.

Ta-Ha/20:47 "Come to him and say, ´We are the messengers of your Lord. Stop your torture of the Children of Israel and send them away with us. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. Peace be upon those who follow the right path.

Ta-Ha/20:52 Their knowledge is recorded with my Lord. My Lord does not err nor forgets.
Ta-Ha/20:53 He made the earth habitable for you, and made paths in it for you, and sent down water from the sky, and with it We brought forth plants of various kinds.
Ta-Ha/20:54 Eat and graze the livestock. In this are signs for those who have intelligence.
Ta-Ha/20:55 We created you from that earth, and to it We shall return you again, and from it We shall bring you forth once more.
Ta-Ha/20:56 And We showed him all Our signs and proofs, but he denied and rejected.
Ta-Ha/20:57 "He said, "Have you come to drive us out of our land with your magic, Moses?"
Ta-Ha/20:62 They discussed their affairs among themselves and kept their talk secret.
Ta-Ha/20:63 "They said, "The sole purpose of these two sorcerers is to drive you out of your land by their magic and to destroy your ideal way of life."

The Believers/23:45 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our Verses and a clear authority.
The Believers/23:46 To Pharaoh and his elite. But they were arrogant. They had become an insolent people.
The Believers/23:47 "They said: "Shall we believe in two people like us while the people of those two were slaves to us?"

The Poets/26:16 "The two of you go to Pharaoh and say, ´We are messengers from the Lord of the Universes.
The Poets/26:17 "Send the Children of Israel with us."
The Poets/26:18 "He said, "Did We not take you when you were a baby and bring you up, and did you not spend many years of your life among us?"
The Poets/26:19 At last you have done what you were going to do. You are an ungrateful person.

The Poets/26:21 Then I fled from you for fear of you, and my Lord gave me wisdom and appointed me as a messenger.
The Poets/26:22 And this favor you have bestowed upon me is because you enslaved the Children of Israel!
The Poets/26:23 "Pharaoh said, "What do you mean, Lord of the Universes?"
The Poets/26:24 "He said, "He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you will surely believe."
The Poets/26:25 "He turned to those around him and said, "Do you hear?"
The Poets/26:26 "He said, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers before you."
The Poets/26:27 "He said, "The messenger sent to you is surely a madman."
The Poets/26:28 "He said, "He is the Lord of the east and the west and all that is between them, if you use your minds."
The Poets/26:29 "He said, "If you take another god (authority) besides me, I will punish you with imprisonment."
The Poets/26:30 "He said, "Even if I have brought you something clear?"
The Poets/26:31 "He said, "Bring it if you are truthful."
The Poets/26:32 When he threw his staff, it became a clear serpent.
The Poets/26:33 When he took out his hand, it appeared white to those who looked.
The Poets/26:34 "He said to the elders around him, "This is indeed a skillful sorcerer."

The Stories/28:48 "When the truth reached them from Us, they said: "If only the like of what was given to Moses (miracles) had been brought to us!"Did they not (those of the same mindset) disbelieve in what was given to Moses before? "They are two books of magic that support each other. We reject both of them"."

The Forgiver/40:23 We sent Moses with Our signs and a clear authority.
The Forgiver/40:24 "We said to Pharaoh, Haman and Karun. They said: "This is a magician and a liar"."

The Ornaments of Gold/43:46 "For example, We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his men and he said, "I am the messenger of the Lord of the Universes."

The Smoke/44:18 O servants of Allah, listen to me. I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you.
The Smoke/44:19 Do not be arrogant against Allah. I have come to you with a clear proof.
The Smoke/44:20 I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord from your stoning me.
The Smoke/44:21 If you do not believe in me, at least leave me alone.
The Smoke/44:22 "And he pleaded with his Lord, "These are a guilty people."

The Scatterers/51:38 And in Moses (there is a lesson). We sent him to Pharaoh with a clear proof.
The Scatterers/51:39 "He turned away with his people and said: "He is either a sorcerer or a madman"."

Those Who Pull Out/79:16 His Lord called out to him in the sacred valley of Tuva:
Those Who Pull Out/79:17 Go to Pharaoh; he was a man of folly.
