Prophet Hud - 11:116
Should not the righteous of the generations before you have prevented evil in the earth? Except a few whom We saved from them. As for the wrongdoers, they indulged in the prosperity given to them, so they joined the criminals.
General characteristics of criminals:
Yaseen/36:59
O criminals, depart this day.
Yaseen/36:60
O children of Adam, did I not take a promise from you that you would not serve Satan? He is your open enemy.
Yaseen/36:61
Serve Me. This is the most right way.
Yaseen/36:62
Yet he has led astray many generations from you. Would you never use your reason?

This is Hell, which is promised to you!

Burn therein as a consequence of your disbelief.

On the Day when the Hour is realized, the criminals will be shocked.

The gates of heaven will not open for those who deny Our Verses and are arrogant against them, and they will not enter Paradise until the camel passes through the eye of a needle. This is how We punish the guilty.

Prophet Jonah/10:13
How many generations before you We destroyed when they did wrong. Their messengers had gone to them with clear proofs, but they refused to believe. Thus do We punish the guilty people.

We have put shackles on the necks of the disbelievers. Are they not recompensed only for what they used to do?"

They will turn and question one another.

"They will say, "Indeed you were not believers"."

We had no power over you. On the contrary, you were a people who were in a wicked state.

The Word of our Lord about us has come true, so we shall taste.

We were the wicked, so We made you wicked.

So on that Day they will be partners in the torment.

When evil touches him, he despairs.

And when good touches him, he is stingy.
Those sent forth/77:46
Eat and enjoy yourselves temporarily; you are the guilty.

Woe on that Day to those who deny!

When they are told to bow down, they do not bow down.
